[edit]

When I used "quornified" in a sentence, I figured I'd find plenty of uses of the verb *quornify and its derived noun *quornification online. How wrong I was. I found no uses of the verb in durably archived sources. Here is the only relevant use of Quornified I could find:

Whereas the only use of quornifying comes from this Facebook thread:

  • 2013 April 11th: Ed Fay, comment on “DEAR VEGETARIANS, After hearing a lot of…” in The Rockstone (Facebook page), comment № 28 (not a stable number):
+ 1 to previous comment and love that you are giving this some serious attention. But don’t get drawn into the trap of quornifying everything!!

Surprisingly, google:"quornification" yields 135 results, pretty much all of them relevant; however, for the most part the uses seem to be satirically punning on pornification — “children should be protected from the ‘Quornification’ of everyday life” occurs several times. I'm not sure if any of these uses of Quornification count as durably archived, but it looks certain that there aren't enough to satisfy the three-independent-uses-in-durably-archived-media-spanning-over-a-year criterion of the CFI.
Perhaps this sad situation will improve at some point in the future. Till then, I leave this scant gathering of supporting evidence here, in the hope that it will contribute to the creation of the relevant entries some day. — I.S.M.E.T.A. 12:59, 16 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
