Nasoraeans are the Mandaeans, followers of John the Baptist

Nasoraean is the name most frequently used for the Mandaean people throughout their scriptures. Mandaean scriptures such as the Ginza Rabba confirm that they were Nasoraeans under the leadership of John the Baptist. Both the Ginza Rabba and the canonical Christian Gospels confirm that the earliest followers of Jesus were from John the Baptist's group.
