Naber

[edit]

I found the word here: [1] The source provided is W.D. Whitney and B.E. Smith: The Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia, the full text of which is available here: [2] --Proto-Germanic Fan (talk) 02:58, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

This webpage I use too but it is not always reliable. But because the German noun "Naber" is included in that book it exists. The book is from the 19th century, maybe the word is just dated.

I have moved the entry to Näber, which is just barely attested. Naber seemed unattested. - -sche (discuss) 05:13, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Naber appears nowhere I can find. Näber appears in dictionaries, but I haven't found any uses yet. - -sche (discuss) 04:57, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
