@Morgengave I suppose the pronunciation is /maːˈnuʃ/ or /mɑˈnuʃ/ and that it is hyphenated as "Ma‧noesj"? Some people also seem to use this as an indeclinable noun. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 14:13, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Lingo Bingo Dingo. For me, it would be /ma.nuʃ/ like in French, and indeed it's hyphenated Ma-noesj. A diminutive like Manoesjke (unlike *Manoesjtje) wouldn't make me raise my eyebrows, but I admit I can't find attestations for it, so you may be right. The plural Manoesjen for certain exists. Oh, I meant indeclinable as in that some people use Manoesj as the plural. I guess [maˈnuʃ] can be seen as the most common realisation of /maːˈnuʃ/ with unstressed /aː/. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 15:48, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
