The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
"A component of a nickname, used especially by rappers like Lil Wayne and Lil Kim." This is just lil (the sense meaning "little"). Similar to "new" in "New York", or "mad" in "Mad Carew". Equinox ◑ 23:27, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
