The Khas people (of Nepal and nearby parts of India, Myanmar, and Bhutan) spoke the Khas language, also known as Khas Kura, Parbate Bhasa, or Gorkhali. In the 1930s, the name of the language was changed from Khas language to the Nepali language. However, the term Nepali can also refer to other languages of Nepal, so it is a bit ambiguous. You could say "Khas Nepali" (English, not Italian) if you felt the need to be specific, but normally it is just called Nepali. —Stephen (Talk) 11:03, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
