[edit]Should the ké in the "Etymology" section have a ʼ in it? If not, it might be good to add a hidden comment as a "sic" that the spelling is correct without glottal stop. 71.66.97.228 08:42, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- The standard word is ké. I think the spelling with ʼ is Western Navajo. There are too many changes of this sort, not only in Navajo but with many other languages, to worry about such comments. When the entry at ké is finally made, it should be explanation enough. In any case, the glottal stop is so frequent in Navajo that it is often written where it is not needed, and often omitted when it is obvious that there is one (such as before a word that begins with a vowel, all of which always begin with a glottal stop, whether written or not). —Stephen 12:24, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
