In balearic catalan, Joan is not pronounced, as would be expected, /ʒoˈan/ but /ʒuˈan/. It should be changed. I can't check it now, but I think that it should appear in Bibiloni, Gabriel, El català de Mallorca. La fonètica, Lleonard Muntaner Editor, Palma, 2016
