I watched the video in the link and it is quite compelling to say that there's an intentional Illuminati reference going on, but try reading the actual text on the page. — This unsigned comment was added by 78.47.171.170 (talk).

Hehe, I went back to before the link was removed (http://www.policestateplanning.com/flash.htm for anyone who's interested) and I have to agree. The person who wrote the page is quite a conspiracy theorist. But I figured I'd put it here, because the video clip was entertaining nonetheless. Made me want to watch the movie with my conspiracy vision on; I saw it ages ago but was too young to know what Illuminati meant. Anyway, please remember to sign comments with ~~~~. Proper noun?

[edit]

I think the common use of the phrase google books:"member of the Illuminati" rather than "Illuminatus" indicates this is often used as a (singular) proper noun referring to the secret society rather than a plural common noun referring to its members. This agrees with how I understand the word as a native speaker. - excarnateSojourner (talk | contrib) 06:42, 19 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
