"I've lost my glasses" makes sense to me, but this doesn't (unless you're indicating a specific point in the past: "I lost my glasses on Monday"). Is this just a UK/US difference? Equinox 23:16, 3 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Follow-up: a British speaker would almost certainly say "I have (I've) lost my glasses". Equinox 07:02, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
