Talk:Hopisinom

Some references mention an alternative form using the longer form of Hopi, Hopiitu; Wikipedia gives the spelling Hopituh Shi-nu-mu which is obviously dated orthography; I also find Hopitu-shinumu; based on the spellings used in A Concise Hopi and English Lexicon I would expect that string might be rendered Hopiitu sinom(u), but in a brief non-exhaustive search I only find Hopi(i)tu as a standalone word, not used together with sinom(u), which would arguably be SOPpy anyway. - -sche (discuss) 17:13, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
