Gwiazdon immigration

My Gwiazdoń family accounts for a 1951 arrival to the US to Toledo Ohio. My father,Thaddeus,was the youngest of four siblings. My father's brother,Karol, emmigrated to Santiago Chile in the 1930s.My father's sister,Maria,emmigrated to Toronto Ontario in 1952.Both Thaddeus and Maria couldn't return to communist Poland after WWII because of their Polish Army and Polish resistance activities respectively.(My mother also took part in the Warsaw Uprising '44 as did my aunt.) Karol had two children,Wanda and Eric. They had seven and three children respectively in Chile.Maria had one son, Marek. Thaddeus had two daughters,Margaret and Wanda. One sister,Janina,remained in Warsaw with her family and parents (Wanda and Adam.) Janina had three children, Elizabeth, Jolanta (Monika), and Christopher.Monika and Christopher reside in the US.

I believe this branch of the Gwiazdon name had originated from Jordanów in southern Poland.However,the parents and four siblings resided in Lwow, now Lviv Ukraine, until they eventually moved to Warsaw via a stay in Radom Poland,where my grandfather owned a railroad affiliated business.I know Adam's father,Karol Gwiazdoń,was an attorney and chief prosecutor in the High Court in Lwow in the late 19th century.Karol's paternal uncle Wawrzyniec (Lawrence) was a bishop,basilica pastor,and doctor of theology. 24.53.186.177 00:49, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
