If the noun is informal, shouldn't the adjective be informal, too?

I'd probably agree. While the noun sense somehow feels more casual than the adjective sense, the adjective form is certainly informal compared to using the full word Gujarati. – Guitarmankev1 ^(talk) 15:24, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
