Freeland as Surname would be a great contribution (in my humble opinion) as with any and all Surnames, however, I am speaking to the community who would be most interested in knowing more about the lineage of the Surname Freeland.

I can begin by saying it is my understanding the name is a translation of Frieslander, a Province in the Netherlands, or a District in Lower-Saxony Germany. Could be the origin of the French Fry?
