As reasoned in the entry itself, personal names in German never have a genitive ending in "-es" and therefore this entry shouldn't be kept. HeliosX (talk) 20:40, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nevertheless, the term does occur in this spelling in older German texts: [1]; [2]; [3]. Formally it looks like the genitive of the Italian name Davide (as seen in “der Davide von Michelangelo”).  --Lambiam 00:29, 13 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
