The definition given is not adequate. The term is used idiomatically in a multiple pejorative senses, with the understanding that the reader will know who Ann Coulter is and thus what is meant. The "data fabrication" sense originally given is one such sense.
We have an NPOV dilemma of sorts here.
- The present definition is non-idiomatic and therefore useless and could possibly be seen as promoting Coulter uncritically.
- On the other hand, a full listing of current senses would read as a diatribe against Coulter, owing to the word's actual use.
