Synonym of OCD

[edit]

I have heard at least one person use CDO as a somewhat humorous synonym of OCD as an adjective with the sense "exhibiting an obsessive tendency". The idea behind the term is that someone with obsessive-compulsive disorder would alphabetize the letters in the initialism of the disorder's name. I can find some of what might be uses on Usenet, but I think the case is arguable. The ones I found are [1] and [2]. —The Editor's Apprentice (talk) 19:11, 30 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
