Attestation

[edit]

@Ysrael214 It seems like the term "Bagong Taong Tsino" is more common. I wonder though if "Bagong Taon ng mga Tsino" will pass the attestation criteria. By the way, where did you see this phrase? Mar vin kaiser (talk) 13:08, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser Saw it in English Wikipedia but it seems to be used often as well such as here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holidays_in_the_Philippines
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/topstories/ulatfilipino/209128/chinese-new-year-holiday-sa-pilipinas-nais-dagdagan-ng-kongresista/story/
and
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/opinion/content/117402/kolateral-damay/story/,
and on this document's last page
https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/54905529/december-21-2015-bulgar-boses-ng-pinoy-mata-ng-bayan
Not sure if "Bagong Taong Tsino" is more common because that's how people actually call it, or is it the Tagalog Wikipedia that made it popular nowadays. Ysrael214 (talk) 19:04, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Ysrael214: Nice that you found news article, that adds to the attestation. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 23:14, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
