An Assyriologist studies *all cuneiform languages*, it's not just an archaeologist studying Assyria. (i.e. S N Kramer is a noted Assyriologist who specializes in Sumer.) I've also only seen the word capitalized. Sumerophile 02:54, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
