Hi

I added another defination for ABC that is Appa Balwant Chowk. "Appa Balwant" is name of person and "chowk" means Road crossing. This is famous area for Books and stationary. As Pune has large number of education institutes and software and mechanical/automobile industry mostly People like to purchace books for this place.

You will get almost all books published in world. also you can have option of cheaper publications. So have choice of buying original expensive edition or leagal Indian edition. also you can buy or sell old books with reasonable rates.

Insted using of big name ("Appa Balwant Chowk") people prefer to use abbrivation as "ABC".

I will like someone to post this properly.

Regards

Abhay.

missing railway sense

[edit]

We're missing the sense that means something like "a specific railway timetable".—msh210 19:18, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

There an argument for splitting by part of speech if ever I've seen one. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:54, 28 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

"ABC (B), a Belgian car market." Not clear what this even means. Googling didn't enlighten me. Equinox 15:38, 2 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Possibly this: Anglo_Belgian_Corporation; "car market" could be false translation of the French word motoriste (motor manufacturer). Anyway, deletable content. --Hekaheka (talk) 04:51, 3 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

ABC

Rfv-senses: "African Basketball Confederation", "American Book Center" and "Aural brevity code". I cleaned up the list of initialisms but these do not seem to be attested. – Einstein2 (talk) 11:19, 8 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

American Book Center is cited. While I could not find "African Basketball Confederation", I COULD find "Asian Basketball Confederation". I only found one source using ABC for "Aural brevity code", and it was not in English. Kiwima (talk) 21:36, 8 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Aside from the alpjabet definitions, the only ones here I've heard of are American Broafcasting Corporation; American-born Chinese; already been chewed; and atomic, biological and chemical. I'm also familiar with a use that isn't in Wiktionary: ABC chart (antecedent-behavior-consequence). Khemehekis (talk) 01:34, 11 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
