I was surprised that anyone thinks this article does not meet the criteria for inclusion. Do we need any more references? There are hundreds to be found if necessary!
I haven't deleted the template yet.

I've never seen it as a grade but I added a sense for the A* Search algorithm. RJFJR 20:56, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Not too sure about the plural either.. --BiT 21:17, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, several years ago I got an A* at GCSE Italian (and so did my wife) - but I'm not really happy with the plural. SemperBlotto 21:21, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Frustratingly, despite my hearing this word on a semi-regular basis (usually due to people bragging about their GCSE results) Google doesn't seem to distinguish between A* and the word a, making this difficult to find citations for. RobbieG 09:50, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Most people don't do boolean search but it's provided in many places for those who want it. Here there's no way to accomplish what you want. Yes, Google can be extremely annoying when it comes to searches for specific characters or case. DAVilla 02:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have added two references: one for each meaning. The standard British spelling of the plural is without the apostrophe, but it is very regulary seen looking like a possessive.
