"A general encyclopedia in the structure of the prefix" is obviously supposed to cover the case of Wikipedia: an encyclopedia based on a wiki, not one that is about the subject of wikis. But does any other encyclopedia have such a name? If not, we shouldn't give the suffix a meaning just to cover our own related project. Equinox 03:20, 21 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Conservapedia claims to be a general-topic encyclopedia written from conservative perspectives, or in a mode of conservatism; in practice it tends to focus on discussing issues relevant primarily to the conservative political sphere. Another point of interest is w:Vikidia, which incorporates -kid- but not -pedia, instead using a reduced form -dia. Arlo Barnes (talk) 23:06, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
