In one of the sources not from ctext (but it was a good starting point) I saw 叉 in a description of 𣛕, so I used one of the definitions (of 叉), pick/fork and made a (slightly) educated guess that it meant something like 'harvested fruit' with 果 as a semantic component.

However, zi.tools and (from) Hanyu Zidian have '树分杈' (tree branches) as a definition, so I will replace my guess with that definitive answer. Gold295857 (talk) 06:39, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
