The Temple Complex Dhat Himyam On the Site of Raybun i in tHe Wadi Dau'an (Southern Yemen)

Excavations conducted between 1984 and 1989 by Soviet-Yemeni team at the site of RaybŪn I have revealed a complex of 4 monumental stone buildings erected on stone socles, passages between them, and various annexes constructed of mud-bricks.

The complex is presumed to have been dedicated to the fertitility goddess, Dhat-Himyam.
