SOURCE of orthography: ORINST. P.56932 PERSEPOLIS 120-karsha weight with a trilingual Darius inscription. Gray Diorite. Found in the Treasury.

NOTE: there is a bogus Old Persian spelling of "karsha" all over the web at the moment which actually spells out "ka-ra-sa-ha-ā" - whoever created it did not realise replaced the "sh" with an "s" and an "h".

The incorrect spellings can be found by doing an online search for "πŽ£πŽ πŽΌπŽΏπƒπŽ " (ka-ra-sa-ha-ā)
