Links in categories etc to this page do not work (see e.g. Category:mul:Computing). Should this be moved to e.g. Unsupported titles/OBJ? – Nixinova [T|C] 04:54, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- It works fine . I think it is only your issue. Try another browser. --Octahedron80 (talk) 05:07, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- I tried Firefox and Safari (I have a Mac) with the same result: on the category page itself, I can see it when I view the source, but when I use the element inspector, it shows a well-formed anchor tag with empty space where the "" should be. When I select that part of the page, all the other items in the list have an object after the bullet that gets highlighted, but that item doesn't. There seems to be a difference between the rendering of the h3 and the rendering of the anchor tag, so the difference between the category page and your wiki markup here doesn't surprise me. - It is possibly Mac & IOS problem. They used OBJ a lot even in plain text but their users can't see. (I see OBJ in many Facebook/Twitter captions/comments) Perhaps Mac & IOS will remove it when rendering. Windows and Android always see the glyph and the link works normally. --Octahedron80 (talk) 06:55, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

- What is the issue with the links of interest?
- The respective anchors' href attributes' should have the value: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%EF%BF%BC Anxiolydiot (talk) 02:22, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

add the fact that obj can also be a replacement for unsupported characters in Unicode (I think) Washweans (talk) 05:49, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
