이젠 (ijen) is a contraction of 이제 (ijeneun). The suffix marks it as the subject of the sentence. It’s a noun: 이젠 안녕 (ijen annyeong, goodbye for now). —Stephen (Talk) 07:49, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
