(E/C)I've got two old Japanese-Russian dictionaries, one very small, which uses a system similar to ours, the other more complicated numeric but User:Eirikr has corrected a couple of my edits. I have some doubts about their accuracy.

Daijirin (the $14 one) has pitch accent info. It also has kanji-drawing input, although that function is not well-developed. I'm not familiar with Midori though. Wyang (talk) 06:07, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Good JA dictionaries for pitch info that I know about are Daijirin, and the NHK Pronunciation Dictionary.

• I happen to have a copy of Daijirin from disc format a decade and a half ago, converted to PC use, but Daijirin is also pretty faithfully reproduced online at Weblio, particularly when you search the non-ejje site at http://weblio.jp/content/ -- just add the term to search at the end of this URL and you're good. As such, I might recommend saving your money unless you need offline access.

Kotobank at http://kotobank.jp/word/ (again, just add the word to search on the end) is another online reference aggregator, but their hits have less useful information -- although Daijirin is included in some of the hits, they don't show pitch information.

• The NHK 日本語発音アクセント辞典 is very good indeed, as the official arbiter of pronunciation as blessed by NHK itself for use by news anchors. It gives both pitch info and info about when /g/ is actually [ŋ], among other useful pronunciation bits. I had that on my Android phone until that died, but my replacement was an iPhone and I thought I could get that transferred, but apparently transfer only works when it's on the same phone OS, and I haven't bought it again. Anyway, on iPhone or Android, or even Windows, the parent app to download is called Dejizo (デ辞蔵) -- https://dejizo.jp/ -- that's the reader and I think it's free. Then you pay to buy various dictionaries that you download and then use Dejizo to access. Note that some dictionaries appear to be OS-specific; the NHK one seems to only be available for iOS or Android, but not Windows.
