Old meaning?

• What did the character 鈈 mean in KangXi's time? Nobody knew about plutonium then. Someone please translate from this image (near the bottom right corner). (Similarly, I read somewhere that the character 鑭, now used for the element lanthanum, was formerly a disused character for harrow.) Anthony Appleyard 05:59, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
