@Suzukaze-c, Eirikr Should the "alternative forms" section include both alternative spellings (追払う, 追いはらう) and sound shape variation (おっぱらう)? If so, I think it makes more sense to use the kana spelling as the lemma entry of wago terms:
==Japanese== ===Alternative forms=== * (more emphatic) おっぱらう (追払, opparau) ===Verb=== おいはらう【追払】 (transitive, godan conjugation, rōmaji oiharau, historical hiragana おひはらふ) # to drive away and get rid of
Spelling issues can use a similar approach to {{zh-forms}}
:
| kun'yomi お.い | kun'yomi はら.う | modern kana, shinjitai (追い払う/追払う/追いはらう) | 追 (Grade: 3) | 払 (Grade: S) | historical kana, shinjitai (追ひ払ふ/追払ふ/追ひはらふ) | 〃 | 〃 | historical kana, kyujitai (追ひ拂ふ/追拂ふ/追ひはらふ) | 〃 | 拂 (Jinmeiyō) |
What do you think of this approach? --Dine2016 (talk) 04:09, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- I consider sound shape variation an alternative form. Alternative spellings are also alternative forms.
- A
