Kelp

[edit]

@ND381: I wanted to check where you got the definition "kelp", as my understanding is that this term doesn't refer to kelp (the very big structures underwater) but rather those kinds of thin whispy fluffy strands of savory green algae that float on the surface. What I have in mind is a lot more like the pictures in this article: [1]. Do correct me if I'm wrong though, or maybe it can mean both! ChromeGames (talk) 05:01, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

hi
I was under the impression that that was called kelp as well? Perhaps seaweed or something would be more apt. Up you you — nd381 (talk) 08:26, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh gotcha, my impression is that kelp are much larger strips that grow upward underwater, but I'm no biologist and honestly the Wikipedia article on kelp is kind of confusing. Apparently kelp is a kind of seaweed though which I didn't know! Anyway appreciate it, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. ChromeGames (talk) 03:37, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
