Sum of parts?

The sum of parts question can be tricky. The key issue is idiomicity. The word reaction can mean several things by itself, but only one thing when used with the word aldol. The entry for chemical reaction was added using similar logic. -- A-cai 00:24, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
