Japanese. Rfv of etymologies 7 (sane) and 8 (sana), both with the sense "truth; reality". Not present in any monolingual dictionary with these kanji, although my surmise is that at least sane is supposed to be (related to) 実 (sane), which has a sense of "essense of something" that the NKD extends to shinjitsu. These two were also removed from the JMDICT some time ago and prior to that were either copied from us or we copied from them (although they have been on the page for years now along with that ugly pile of names that I took a stab at cleaning up). lattermint (talk) 02:04, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
- Those two readings were added in this set of edits, by an editor known to have some issues with Japanese. I'll just remove those as an error. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 20:23, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. However, it looks to me like they were added way back in this edit and the user you mentioned just added readings, but either way it looks spurious, so I suppose this one is speedied. lattermint (talk) 22:06, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
