“Full house” sense
[edit]@Wyang, isn't “full house” a poker term (three same-ranked cards and a pair)? Anything equivalent in mahjong (X number of melds and a pair)? ~ POKéTalker(═◉═) 00:30, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- Forgot that Wyang left the scene a few days shy of my post. Pinging @The dog2 instead for the same questions. ~ POKéTalker(═◉═) 08:26, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Not that I know of. But then again, I'm not as familiar with mahjong terms in English as I am in Chinese. The only full house I know comes from poker. The dog2 (talk) 08:48, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- How about you, @RcAlex36? Same question, and something to replace the "to have a full house" sense to something more mahjong? ~ POKéTalker(═◉═) 02:49, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
- @The dog2: can you think of words to replace the "to have a full house" sense to something more mahjong? RcAlex36 has not replied... ~ POKéTalker(═◉═) 02:07, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- @POKéTalker: I guess "maximum points" is the best way to put it. The dog2 (talk) 02:32, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
