[edit]@Shen233: you have the etymology backwards here. 戸惑う is a verbification of 戸惑い. See note in daijirin's 戸惑う entry: 「とまどい」を動詞化したものか. Kojien says the same thing. Opencooper (talk) 05:48, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
