@Yumeto Are you sure it's 崑玉 instead of 昆玉? RcAlex36 (talk) 11:57, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

崑玉 is named after the jade (玉) in Kunlun (崑崙). Yumeto (talk) 12:13, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Yumeto: Can you find any attestations for 崑玉 though? @Justinrleung, 沈澄心, how should this be dealt with? RcAlex36 (talk) 12:48, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
w:ja:ノート:崑玉市. @そらみみ. Yumeto (talk) 12:58, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Yumeto: That's not Chinese and doesn't count as an attestation. See WT:ATTEST. RcAlex36 (talk) 13:05, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
It is not just non-Chinese. The talk mentioned a source by Kunyu City itself. Its article 昆玉市市名解读 says Kunyu is named after the jade in Kunlun (昆冈美玉, traditional: 崑岡美玉). Yumeto (talk) 13:22, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Attested in 愛如生中國基本古籍庫. -- 13:26, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@沈澄心: Thanks. Do they refer to the city in Xinjiang? If so, could you please put the citations on the Citations page? Thanks. RcAlex36 (talk) 13:59, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: No, they don't. No hits in books about Xinjiang in 愛如生中國方志庫.-- 15:12, 12 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
