Cf. German "Fachidiot", which basically also translates to "specialist fool/idiot" and carries the same meaning. (Usage frequency: 2/5, cf. http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/Fachidiot) I'm not sure about the guidelines on adding a translation for a word with no direct English equivalent, so I'll just leave this here for a more experienced Wiktionary contributor. 5.179.104.100 11:57, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
