읫 or 욋?

[edit]

Unihan database has “UYS” (, uys in Yale romanisation), but it is transcribed as (woys in Yale romanisation for pre-modern Korean) here and here (same text). (The entry 外叱怪面 in a list is probably a workaround for 夞怪面).

I cannot imagine any situation where uys would make sense.

Has been used for both woys and uys, or is this an error on the side of Unicode or whatever entity reported the character? Dustsucker 16:47, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Unihan database's use of "읫" (uys) appears to be an error, as the Naver Hanja Dictionary also uses "욋" (oys) for this character. Bumm13 (talk) 11:27, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
