'喝酒' as a word? 'hējiǔ' is probably non-standard/nonsensical pinyin?

[edit]

'喝酒' as a word is not present in the following dictionaries:

Therefore 'hējiǔ' is probably a non-standard or a nonsensical pinyin; should probably be 'hē jiǔ'? --Geographyinitiative (talk) 01:46, 10 November 2018 (UTC) My reasoning relies on the idea that 1) this phrase is so common that it wouldn't have passed unnoticed by the editors of these dictionaries and 2) 喝 is really referring to drinking and not some abstract meaning and 酒 is really referring to alcohol and not some abstract drink. I was just thinking that the 酒 of 喝酒 may be a dummy placeholder noun, but I don't think this VO has been abstracted to that degree yet. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 04:55, 10 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
