琴

Changing 琴 to "harp" is very inaccurate. China has only had one type of harp in its history (a harp being an open frame with strings stretched between two of its sides), and that was called 箜篌 (although there were originally at least three different shapes used, they were all called 箜篌, not 琴). 琴 originally referred to the 7-stringed zither that is also called 古琴, but by extension 琴, when used with a modifier, can also mean "zither," "string instrument" (of any type), or even "musical instrument" (as with the 手风琴). I strongly recommend removing "harp" and restoring "musical instrument." 24.29.234.185 23:57, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
