Japanese bon, hon readings

[edit]

@Krun, do you have any usage examples of this reading? I've never encountered any Japanese texts that use this, nor any Japanese references that include it. Is it possible that the Dai Kan-Wa Jiten has included these two readings for purposes of completeness as a reference of kanji, including as used in Chinese, and that these readings are not actually used in Japanese outside of folks sounding out written Chinese in kanbun fashion? ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 22:30, 7 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
