@Mar vin kaiser: Oh, I got the "dī-kú" from lannangarchives website and other FB friends and their posts. When I asked my dad about this, he is often confused and think I'm making up what other families are reading them as and said this prize is "kí-dîn" which I think he is referring to 舉人, so I guess maybe pronouncing as "kú" might be an Ē-mn̂g influence in other families.
