@Eirikr, 荒巻モロゾフ Could I request that you review this entry? —Suzukaze-c (talk) 06:00, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Suzukaze-c: Formatting looks good, aside from the missing first sense.
- Beyond that, though, I'm not sure this is lexical. See lack of any entry at Kotobank or Weblio or Jim Breen's WWWJDIC. Also missing from my dead-tree SMK4 copy (my SMK5 isn't to hand at the moment).
- I think the basic construction is
[OBJECT]+[VERB in 連用形]
, with quite a bit of flexibility in the two, resulting in a phrasal construction that is not a lexical item. By way of comparison, see also google:"花吹き" (“flower-blowing”) or google:"葉散らし" (“leaf-scattering”) or google:"リンゴ食い" (“apple-eating”) or google:"小屋作り" (“shed-building”), and so on and so forth. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 05:27, 8 October 2020 (UTC)- SoP-ness: True. But according to [1] (the first Google result), it's especially used to refer to the cherry blossom season (which I didn't add to the entry), and might not have been used like this previously (although it is fairly straightforward as you mention). —Suzukaze-c (talk) 06:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
