@Lingo Bingo Dingo: the Greek word can be found here at page 272, but there are several spellings: κεστωνάριος (kestōnários), κεσσωνάριος (kessōnários), κυαιστεωνάριος (kuaisteōnários), κυαιστιωνάριος (kuaistiōnários). --Barytonesis (talk) 12:59, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks! Though for now I'll wait out what the Greek entry will eventually be. It is interesting that the Greek displays so much variation. Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 13:22, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
@Vorziblix, could you please provide IPA here? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 00:15, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Metaknowledge: Done. I’ve avoided supplying stress because there’s still uncertainty over whether Greek loanwords into Coptic kept the original stress (thus /kestoːˈnarjos/) or adapted them to Coptic stress patterns (thus /kestoːnaˈrjos/); probably there was variation between words, with the former being most often the case. — Vorziblix (talk · contribs) 21:51, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
