While my sources (Bauer, LSJ (both 1877 and 1940 versions)) do seem to disagree somewhat about the best accentuation of this word, they do all agree that the iota is long. Thus, an acute on the penult is not possible. If someone disagrees with this, please provide a reference for their disagreement. Atelaes 03:59, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
