@Aryamanarora Can I ask where you got the spelling from? I'm just curious as this doesn't follow the usual Tibetan script rules. Wyang (talk) 12:43, 11 October 2017 (UTC)

@Wyang: I had to figure out the spelling as the source I found (Northeast Indian Linguistics, a wonderful reference) only gives IPA transcription. @Aryamanarora: Ah thanks. Which issue of North East Indian Linguistics is it, and what is the article? I was reading Hyslop's 2011 thesis A Grammar of Kurtop, and it seems that in the Uchen orthography for Kurtop, the syllables are separated by a ‹་› (tsheg), and there should also be tone marks. Indeed, I would recommend that you not guess spellings in a script you cannot read. Unfortunately, -sche has also been guilty of this in Tibetan-script languages, including Kurtop. On a somewhat unrelated note, is there any way we can get ཆཱོ to display correctly? —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 07:21, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
