This is not a bass flute; it's the largest size of khlui (vertical duct flute) but not in the "bass" register, and it needs "khlui" before it to be intelligible. 71.66.97.228 20:29, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

You just have to put the translation that you think is right, or move the page to the spelling that you think is necessary. It does no good to complain here, this is a wiki. In a wiki, each user can edit if he knows better or more information. —Stephen (Talk) 23:11, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Phiang aw" doesn't seem intelligible without "khlui" before it, unless we know what "phiang aw" means on its own. It might derive from Mon or some other language, and not have a usage or meaning in Thai separate from the term "khlui phiang aw" (the name for the medium size of khlui). Or can "phiang aw" be used as a short form of "khlui phiang aw"? I've never heard "phiang aw" used on its own. 71.66.97.228 05:35, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I already annotated (ขลุ่ย~) in the sense. --Octahedron80 (talk) 04:56, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
