@Octahedron80 How should this be pronounced? I think I heard แก๊ส-เมีย here (which would be แคชเมียร์?). The entry ภาษากัศมีร์ initially had the romanisation of kadsamii - กัด-สะ-มี? Wyang (talk) 10:20, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

Not sure. Because กัศมีร์ is the true Indic transcription of कश्मीर Kashmir, while English reads Kashmir another way becoming แคชเมียร์. The แคชเมียร์ is more often used than the กัศมีร์. If I have to read it, it might be "กัด-สะ-หฺมี", analogous to รัศมี "รัด-สะ-หฺมี". --Octahedron80 (talk) 15:08, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
