Quotation

@शब्दशोधक I see this line/shloka on the Internet but I cannot find anything in the documented Sanskrit corpus. Maybe it's composed by someone recently? (Recently compared to the rest of the Sanskrit works) -- Bhagadatta(talk) 09:14, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Bhagadatta: Maybe. Many claim that this is from बृहस्पति आगम, which I think isn't true. Should it be kept or deleted? - द्विशकारःवार्त्तायोगदानानिसंरक्षितावलयःविद्युत्पत्त्रम् 09:18, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Most probably composed after the Persian invasion. Anyways, there are a lot of rumours surrounding the word hindu. Of course, it is from Persian but many try to say that it is from Sanskrit and this quote is a quote which is quoted by them to prove that the words hindu and hindusthāna (hindustān) are in Sanskrit and that they are not given to us by Persians. - द्विशकारःवार्त्तायोगदानानिसंरक्षितावलयःविद्युत्पत्त्रम् 09:25, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@शब्दशोधक: Yeah we better remove the quote as it does not appear to be authentic. -- Bhagadatta(talk) 09:48, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
