@Aryamanarora: "sky-shattering" was my interpretation of गगनभेदी (गगन (gagan, “sky”) +‎ भेद (bhed, “split”)) & the meaning "thunderous" seems somewhat the same. So he was perhaps being sarcastic or something, calling this discussion about communism very profound, weighty etc in an ironic manner. - ɱɑɗɦɑѵ (talk) 15:50, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

@माधवपंडित: That's what I think too. Shabdsagar says ऊंचा as a second sense, so गगनभेदी निर्घोष = ऊंची बात I suppose. —Aryaman ^{(मुझसे बात करो)} 15:53, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
